In 2183 (p.075), the overall look was really affected by the white-haired character (and in 2188, by the green larva). The story itself is quite serious, but sometimes characters appear that are rather likable, so I tried to make the designs for them really come alive. The outfits the SWAT team members are wearing are a little too SF-looking, and I think I should have toned down the realism a bit. I have to admit, I don't like it when police scatter too many spent shells about.... The officers might slip on the casings, and besides, they have to go to all the trouble of writing up a report accounting for all the rounds they fired!
